A law firm's platform and a compliance team's platform

Fragomen is one of the largest immigration law firms in the world, and WorkRight is the I-9 software it built. Since July 2026 it has run as its own company, WorkRight US, and it pitches the platform as designed from the regulator's side, with Fragomen's legal authority behind it. We've done only the Form I-9 and E-Verify since 1998. Our compliance team completes remote Section 2, tracks reverifications, and audits I-9s every day, and that team is who you work with on every plan.

Who answers the day-to-day questions

Most I-9 mistakes come from document questions, not legal theory. A TPS holder whose country's designation changed this year, an asylee presenting a Form I-94, a work permit under an automatic extension, a receipt, or a document that has to be reverified on Supplement B all need a quick, correct answer before the deadline. WorkRight offers a live help desk and escalation to Fragomen attorneys for complex cases. Calls to us go straight to the I-9 compliance team, who have handled exactly these cases for 28 years, and we've helped employers through ICE audits since 1998.

Remote Section 2

Both companies complete Section 2 for remote hires. WorkRight's new hires schedule a video meeting with one of its verification representatives, who reviews the documents under the DHS alternative procedure. On i9 Intelligence a trained person on our US-based compliance team examines the documents over live video and signs Section 2, or a manager or representative you choose does it at no extra cost. Live-video review only works for employers enrolled in E-Verify and in good standing (USCIS), and we can enroll you and act as your E-Verify employer agent if you aren't enrolled yet.

Pricing

WorkRight doesn't publish prices. Its Lite, Core, and Enterprise tiers are quoted by projected hiring volume and program complexity, and it runs pilot programs instead of a free trial. We publish one monthly price based on how many I-9s you complete in a year, with unlimited users, locations, E-Verify accounts, and API access included, and no seat, location, or storage fees.

US only or global

WorkRight covers UK and Australian right-to-work checks, government contracting, and export controls alongside the I-9. If you verify workers in several countries, that breadth matters. If your workforce is in the US, a platform built only for the Form I-9 and E-Verify keeps the screens, the training, and the price focused on the job you actually have.

Where WorkRight is stronger

Every comparison we publish includes this. If one of these matters most to you, WorkRight may be the better fit.

  • Global coverage, with UK and Australia right-to-work checks in the same platform as the I-9.
  • Fragomen attorneys available for legal escalation and investigation defense.
  • A turnkey iCIMS integration, included in iCIMS's Summer 2026 release.

How much does WorkRight cost?

WorkRight doesn't publish prices. Its Lite, Core, and Enterprise tiers are quoted by projected hiring volume and program complexity. i9 Intelligence publishes its pricing by I-9s per year, with users, locations, E-Verify, and API access included in every plan.

Does WorkRight offer remote I-9 verification?

Yes. New hires schedule a video session with a WorkRight verification representative, who reviews documents under the DHS alternative procedure. Do I need a law firm to stay I-9 compliant?
