Tracker I-9 is Mitratech's I-9 software, sold by custom quote inside a large legal and compliance software company. Both vendors now have their own experts complete remote Section 2 by video. The differences are in how you buy it, what the remote service covers, and who picks up when you call, and i9 Intelligence publishes its prices.

Both vendors now do remote Section 2 by video
Tracker's I-9 Pro service, built on the 2023 DHS alternative procedure, has Tracker's own compliance experts meet the new hire over Zoom and complete Section 2. Our US-based team does the same job by live video inside our app. Both depend on the hiring site being enrolled in E-Verify and in good standing (USCIS).
The details are where they split. Mitratech's help center says I-9 Pro covers Section 2 only, so reverifications and Section 2 amendments stay with your team, and its FAQ lists an extra fee when a new hire misses an appointment, cancels late, or shows up without documents. Our remote Section 2 is $50–$55 per verification, and a manager or other authorized representative you choose can complete Section 2 at no extra cost.
How you buy it
Tracker I-9 is sold through a customized demo and a service agreement, and I-9 Pro is added under its own agreement. We publish our platform tiers by hires per year, with unlimited users, locations, and E-Verify accounts, so procurement can see the number before anyone gets on a call.
Specialist or suite
Mitratech sells legal, risk, compliance, and HR software, and Tracker I-9 sits next to products like INSZoom for immigration case management. That's useful if you want one vendor for several of those jobs. We've only done Form I-9 and E-Verify since 1998, so a hard document question goes straight to the compliance team.
